To wash your car, simply grab a couple 100% cotton cloths, spray a small area with a misting of one of our products and use one towel for the first gentle wipe, removing the majority of surface dust and dirt. It''s very important to be gentle with your initial wipes, as dirt on the surface can scratch your paint if you wipe too hard. Use the second clean towel to buff the surface dry. Keep turning your towels so you have a clean surface against the paint. Work from the top down and finish up with door jambs and lower valances. (It''s important not to let it dry on the paint.) I clean the wheels last. Our products won''t harm glass, plastic or rubber trim. You will not believe the results. It''s so fast and easy. Perfect for using in the garage when the weather is bad. Great on boats, race cars at the track, as a final prep before a concourse judging, painted cabinets, motorcycles, chrome, bicycles and any painted or clear coated surface. It doesn''t take much to keep your interior in great shape, either. Even if you eat in your car, most of your stains are organic and will come out with our cleaners. Even oil stains on the carpets and upholstery will lift right out. Get yourself an upholstery brush as it will help raise the nap on carpets and cloth seats so the cleaner can do its work. Also, there are two types of leather: vat-dyed and spray-on dyed leather. With vat-dyed leather, the color is obtained by immersing the hide in dye. With this process, the color penetrates completely through the leather! With spray-on dyed leather the color is "painted" on. While this produces a more even color, some of the natural grain of the hide is lost and overall life of the leather diminished. Normally, a painted-on dye will wear off at the stress points. (You may think this is just dirt build up, but on close inspection the dye will be gone.) Most of the vat-dyed leather I''ve seen has come out of Europe. U.S. and Japanese manufacturers tend to stick to the spray-on dyed leather. If you want to bring back that leather smell of a brand new car, try our leather scents.
